Before starting this kite I was focused to build a good kite to kitesurf with and I was attracted by the economical side of this peoject.
The entire cost for all materials is about 1/3 of a similar commercial kite.
While building I completely changed my mind.
Kite building is itself a source of joy and you stop considering your kite as a tool to make something else.
You always want to build a good kite but you get more and more involved in the beaty of studiing new solutions and making the best work you can.
If someone will ask me now if this kite is a good way to obtain a cheap kitesurf kite I'll tell him to buy a Peter Lynn Arc and forget about
sewing.
If you understand that building this kite require a lot of time (for me about 160 hours) and if you are aware that result and performances may differ from what you expected this is a kite to build.
